A mailbox is simply an email address that you’ve verified with Pensieve.
After you’ve verified an email address with Pensieve you can use Pensieve to send email to that mailbox through a portal.

Rules determine how Pensieve transforms your captured ideas (text, audio memos, and photos) into emails. Rules put you in control over many aspects of how Pensieve turns your ideas into emails, that is, over the Transform step of the workflow.
You can change the rules for all emails you send with Pensieve by editing the Default Format Rules from the Main Menu.
You can customize the rules for specific portals by adding Custom Format Rules to each portal.
If a portal does not contain a custom override for a specific rule, the default rule will apply.
