Take photos and email them to yourself from within Pensieve.
Tap the shutter button to take a photo and attach it to your draft.
You can use the front-facing or the back camera to take photos with Pensieve. This setting determines which camera is set up by default when you switch to the Pensieve Camera.
The camera viewport size can be in two states: normal and maximized. The maximized state gives you a larger viewport to focus on taking photos. When this setting is ON, switching to the camera tool will maximize the viewport automatically.
By default, when using your device sideways (in landscape orientation) the Pensieve camera will take landscape photos. If you set Portrait Orientation Lock to ON, then Pensieve won’t take landscape photos. Instead, it will always shoot portrait photos, regardless of how you’re holding your device.
When this setting is enabled, photos you take are emailed to you instantly instead of being attached to the current draft message.
When this setting is enabled, photos that you take and email with Pensieve are also saved to your camera roll. You can find all of those photos in an album named “Pensieve” in your Photos app.
